Wow, this presidential election is already going nuts! I never expected Donald Trump to run for office, and I want to keep this as neutral as I can.
It’s no arguing that our tax code is totally messed the crap up. We stress about it too much, waste too much money on this BS. I also think the tax rate is far too high – lots of people shockingly don’t think it’s high enough?
But I beg the question, we are taxed on money we make (up to 39.6%! (Federal Only)) AND we are taxed again on that money when we spend it. Does that honestly make any sense at all?
I know we need to pay taxes, but why is it so high and we still have bad infrastructure, bad health care, bad everything, except lobbying?
You shouldn’t be punished for making more money, yes you should pay more in taxes but not such a ridiculous rate!
In case you arent aware I found an article that I think has some good points, ill highlight them here but read the full story HERE
“But the other reason is that I hate the way our government spends our taxes. I hate the way they waste our money, trillions and trillions of dollars of waste and abuse. And I hate it.”
Trump’s code, which he calls the “1-5-10-15 income tax plan,” is a simplistic way to fix our nation’s broken taxation system, without putting the strain on any particular group of people.
Under Trump’s tax plan, those making up to…
- $30,000 per year will pay 1 percent in federal income taxes
- $30,000 to $100,000 will pay 5 percent
- $100,000 to $1 million will pay 10 percent
- $1 million or above will pay 15 percent
“It’s clear and fair,” wrote Trump on his tax plan. “Best of all, it can be filled out on the back of a postcard and will save Americans big bucks on accountants and massive amounts of time wasted attempting to decipher the tax code.”
What would you do with an extra 25% raise? How would you benefit the world? Wouldn’t it be a little easier for us to live, as opposed to filling politicians wallets?
