What is Safer Web?
Safer web is a virtual private network or VPN. It is a private network allowing almost complete anonymously on the internet. While many people think this is bad, one only needs to look at how vulnerable this leaves the average person to attack.
Hackers can literally steal your money and identity from the safety of their house or coffee shop (anywhere hackers have an internet connection). Their victims can be anywhere on earth and they can rob them of everything. Here at financialfitnessblog we are committed to helping you achieve financial success. It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t let you know how to protect yourself from having it possibly stolen from you!
I don’t think the average person realizes just how much information visiting a website can give another person/company. And we all know that there are some really evil people out there. The internet makes it very easy for theft and it’s relatively untraceable.
How Does Safer Web Keep Us Safer?
Safer Web gives you an extra layer of security when it comes to hackers. While nothing is 100% secure it’s definitely worth the protection considering the serious damage that can be done. In our day and age the government is increasingly overstepping their mandate and tracking anything and everything about people and storing it somewhere. I think we would all be nauseated at how much information they had on all of us – if only we knew. However we can only speculate, Safer Web’s VPN keeps us much safer from the never blinking eyes of the government.
All of this is great news, but do they really deliver?
Safer Web’s Network
Safer web is extremely secure, they use state of the art 256 bit encryption (really, really secure) to keep your information safe. In fact this is the same level of protection banks use. They even have a secure socket line (SSL) which is now the gold standard of security on the internet. You can tell because the URL will show up as https instead of http.
They are also very particular on speed, safer web is continuously optimizing their network for sheer speed. Because lets face it, faster is better plain and simple. I think there is nothing more irritating than a slow internet connection.
User friendly App and Software
Whether you are setting up your settings on your computer or mobile phone/tablet, safer web has user friendliness as a top priority. Everything is streamlined to make it as easy as possible. I know it’s very frustrating dealing with complex interfaces, safer web has that problem nipped in the bud.
Normally setting up a VPN requires some decent nerd knowledge, safer web simplifies the process considerably!
They have 30 different (still expanding) all over the world, so anywhere you travel or are from you’ll have quick secure access to the internet. Because obviously you wouldn’t like connecting to a Los Angeles server if you’re in Moscow! The internet would be super slow.
Prices and What You Get
Safer web offers two plans right now, I was surprised with how inexpensive they were.
- 7 Connection Hubs
- Unlimited Bandwith
- Unlimited Data Transfer
- 1 Device Connections
So for the price of an ice cream cone a month you can have complete peace of mind when surfing the web, can be sure your information has the best possible protection. That sound pretty darn good to me honestly!
Safer Web Pro’s
- Obviously the best part of it is keeping your information safe and secure while masking your IP address.
- Allows you get get around geo restrictions, like a proxy.
- Fast Connection, yet secure.
What I don’t Like About Safer Web
The only thing I found that I didn’t really like is their prices are promotional, after the promotion is over they go up to their standard prices.
However this is standard for any company, offer a good deal to new accounts so while it’s kind of annoying it makes sense. And even their standard rates are still pretty darn cheap! Less than $15 a month for complete security? I’d still call that a steal.
Final Verdict on Safer Web
After looking over everything I’d have to say that I’d fully recommend them. I highly recommend a VPN service for everyone because of how easily it is to steal information, bank accounts, log ins etc. We need to make safety a priority on the internet. The consequences are too ghastly to discuss.
After all isn’t a few bucks a month worth it to keep our data secure? I’d fully recommend checking them out, you can do so below
